As a media entrepreneur, TV host, writer and multimedia producer, Darley Newman has successfully pioneered multiple TV and digital original series and brands in the travel and hospitality space. Recognized in Forbes for her “PBS Travel Empire” and in Bloomberg Businessweek back in 2006 for launching an early and innovative Micro Net TV channel, she’s an expert on connecting with consumers and targeted audiences through new media, including storytelling through VR.
She’ll be sharing her insights on a panel moderated by Marketing & Business Strategist Siobhan Chretien on “How Brands in the Travel and Hospitality Sector are Using Video To Connect With Consumers” on October 17th at the NAB Show New York Streaming Summit. The Streaming Summit will feature more than 75 speakers from the broadcast, media and publishing industries covering the technical and business challenges and opportunities in packaging, monetizing and distributing online video. Organized by conference Chairman Dan Rayburn, the Streaming Summit is sponsored by Google, Limelight, Haivision and more.
